Join us on Saturday at 1 pm for a panel discussion on contemporary enamel work with artists Jessica Calderwood, David Freda, and Barbara Seidenath. The panel, which will showcase images of the artists' work and work of their contemporaries, is moderated by Bernard Jazzar, president of the nonprofit Enamel Arts Foundation. The panel will be followed by a free tour of Little Dreams in Glass and Metal: Enameling in America, 1920 to Present at the Craft and Folk Art Museum, a block east of LACMA on Wilshire Boulevard.

Curator Ilona Katzew will moderate a roundtable discussion of Mexico's feather art with Diana Fane, Ellen Pearlstein, and Gerhard Wolf, authors of the much-awaited Images Take Flight: Feather Art in Mexico and Europe. The authors will discuss the tradition of feather mosaics from ancient to contemporary times, with emphasis on technique as well as style. The discussion begins at 2 pm in the Brown Auditorium.

Each year, LACMA and Sundays Live choose a select number of ensembles from the Colburn School to perform in the Bing Theater. The Colburn Chamber ensembles are composed of pre-college chamber musicians studying with renowned faculty, and their work has been awarded in numerous competitions. The performance begins at 6 pm with works to be announced.

Tours this weekend include 20th Century Latin American Art on Friday at 2 pm, Highlights of the Museum: Art of East Asia on Saturday at 12 pm, and Robert Mapplethorpe: The Perfect Medium on Sunday at 2:30 pm.
