This Thursday, February 6, at 7 pm, the Art + Technology Lab will be visiting the Women’s Center for Creative Work (WCCW) to talk about the Lab's artist grant program and application process. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the Lab and review its call for proposals with Lab staff. Sarah Rosalena, a 2019 Lab grant recipient, will also be in attendance and will provide an overview of her project, Exit Points.

The Lab is accepting proposals for artist projects until February 25, 2020. Grants of up to $50,000 are available as well as in-kind support from the museum and organizations in technology and science.

Deep technological experience is not required. Prospective applicants are encouraged to think beyond the traditional exhibition gallery presentation. The Lab is looking for projects that take meaningful risks and experiment with ideas, materials, and methods coming from science and technology and provide a way for the public to engage in the process via talks, performances, and presentations.
