Opening Sunday, Richard Prince: Untitled (cowboy) features the artist’s career-long motif of the cowboy in two photographic series publicly exhibited for the first time. Prince’s practice of re-photography had an explosive effect on the art world 40 years ago, and to this day he continues to challenge the conventional meanings and limits of the photographic medium.
