Celebrate Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, with a full day of activities throughout the campus on Sunday. With storytelling, calligraphy, crafts, a parade, and performances, enjoy the festivities from 11:30 am to 7 pm. To mark the holiday, Unframed chatted with Michael Pourmohsen, LACMA's director of graphic design, about celebrating Nowruz as a child. Sundays Live brings the members of the UCLA Camarades to the Bing Theater, performing Tchaikovsky: Serenade for Strings, Opus 48. The UCLA Camarades are composed of the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music's string faculty and students. The performance begins at 6 pm.
